Enrol onto a taster course

Our taster course is a great way of discovering whether being a Pregnancy Pal is for you. You can 'test the water' without having to make a commitment. The course will be in person and runs of 4 weeks (you attend all the sessions)

Our next taster course runs in Basildon on the following dates.

Monday Mon 12th September, Monday 19th September, Monday  26th September and Monday 3rd October 10am - 12.00pm. Sign-up for the course and contact us if you have any questions.

About the course

It is free, friendly and fun!

It helps you to:

  • Make new friends;

  • Build your confidence;

  • Gain some new skills;

  • Meet some Pregnancy Pals;

  • Chat to our team and;

  • Decide whether it's for you.

At the end of the course we will help you to decide whether being a Pregnancy Pal is for you. There may also be other volunteering options and opportunities that we could offer you too.

We are with you all the way!

This is what people say about our taster courses:

I feel more confident and excited. I could make a massive difference to someone’s life.

I really enjoyed learning about listening skills. It has made me realise how important it actually is.

I’ve enjoyed meeting new people, learning new skills and finding out about the volunteering role.

How to request a place.

Complete and submit our online form.

We organise courses on demand and will let you know the date of the next course. Places are subject to availability.
