Evidence is overwhelming that volunteering and peer support can make a unique and valuable contribution to the well-being of parents and babies. So why are so many amazing initiatives struggling to survive? Our mission at Parents 1st UK is to enable perinatal volunteering to flourish despite the challenges we face. This conference will not only celebrate examples of what is being achieved across the UK but will also launch a brand-new website full of knowledge, ideas and hundreds of resources - for free! We need to share, connect and find new solutions together. This conference will be suitable for… Anyone involved or interested in planning, delivering or funding a perinatal volunteer initiative including: Midwives developing Community Hubs, Maternity Voices Volunteers, Health Visitors, Social Workers, Early Years Practitioners, Family Support Workers, Voluntary & Community Organisations, Commissioners, Policy Makers, Parents and Volunteers Why attend?
